The EP will essentially bring to an end the work around the current album, which saddens me a little. But it also means you should all go an listen to it regularly for the rest of your life, k?
Because its good.
Beyond the framework of the 'Love Pours Into Death' album, Ephemeral can be what it was always meant to be - a celebration of sampling. From classic crate digging for textures, tones and breaks, to sound design and resampling, this is a marriage of the old school and digital, tied together with live drums.
Over the rest of the EP are a selection of rarities and curiosities from the album sessions. These include an early, layered demo in the form of 'This Silent Life', warped, modular sound manipulation on 'The Drift' and a super rare, full-band interpretation of a stand out cut from the album - 'Mass of Apathy'.
Listen and maybe even buy!
